Half day course - Introduction in to stained glass.

Discover the traditional craft of stained glass in this hands-on half-day workshop at my studio in Formby.

Perfect for complete beginners, I’ll guide you through the process of creating your own stained glass panel using traditional techniques. You’ll learn how to cut glass, work with lead, solder your panel and finish it using traditional cementing methods.

Choose from a selection of my pre-drawn designs, or create your own simple design with guidance. You’ll have a beautiful range of coloured and textured glass to choose from to make your piece your own.

Your finished panel will be approximately 15 × 25 cm and will be ready to take home with you at the end of the workshop, to hang somewhere the light can bring the glass to life.

No previous experience is needed. All materials, tools and safety equipment are provided.

Workshops are held in small groups in my garden studio in Formby, Merseyside, giving you plenty of individual guidance throughout.
