Two Hour Private Fused Glass Taster Workshops

Discover the joy of fused glass in a relaxed, creative two-hour private workshop, held in my dedicated garden glass studio in Formby.

Perfect for complete beginners, this taster session gives you the opportunity to experiment with colourful glass and create your own unique pieces to treasure.

During the workshop, you can choose to create a selection of items such as suncatchers, keyrings, two coasters or hanging decorations, or a candle holder, depending on the designs you choose.

I’ll guide you through using a variety of fused glass materials including coloured glass, confetti, stringers and copper inclusions. No previous experience is needed — the emphasis is on enjoying the process, building your confidence and creating something completely personal to you.

After your workshop, your pieces will be kiln-fired and finished for you. Firing takes approximately 24 hours, and your finished work will usually be ready for collection within a few days. If you prefer, your pieces can be posted to you for an additional charge.

Private workshop prices

1–2 people — £57 per person
3–4 people — £55 per person
5–6 people — £52 per person

All materials, equipment and tuition are included.

Looking for something for a larger group? I can also arrange birthdays, hen parties, friendship gatherings, corporate events and special occasions. Alternative venues may also be possible, although additional travel, venue or tutor costs may apply.
